Autumn Cherry Trees

December Orchard Report

This is a time for us where we ask mother nature to bring us cool damp weather for our orchard. Just as with humans, cherry trees need a certain amount of sleep (or in industry terms "chill hours" or "chill portions"). This is so our cherry trees can wake up fully rested and thrive for the Spring growing season.
As you can imagine, a thriving tree in the spring growing season sets up our trees to produce plump sweet cherries!
