Experiencing A Real Winter In The Orchard | January Orchard Report
Last month we asked mother nature to bring us cool and wet weather. Well, she delivered in a big way and that has allowed the cherry trees to fall into deep dormancy.

Compared to last year our chill portions are up roughly 17% from last year and up 26% compared to average. As for rain, we are approximately 581% up from last year and 102% over our long-term average.
The wonderful "real" winter we have experienced in the Blooms Cherries growing region simply translates to a higher possibility for a great crop of cherries. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and I'll report back in February.
